LWLC’s vison for reconciliation is to embrace unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians, to foster equality and equity, historical acceptance of our shared history, and removal of negative race relations.
Living Waters Lutheran College promotes a culture that honours and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through rich and inclusive relationships and learning opportunities that deepen the understanding and knowledge of the diversity within and across Australia. It is our vison that every LWLC community members feels included and fully benefit from the learning opportunities we provide to all our diverse students from different cultures and backgrounds. We want every member of our community to fully experience and contribute to a reconciled, just, and equitable Australia.
The key focus of the Reconciliation Plan is Relationship, Respect and Opportunities in the classroom, around the school and in the community. Living Waters has made a commitment to action the plan throughout 2022.
